Question 1

How long does insurance have to approve my hail claim?

Accepted Answer

North Carolina carriers typically acknowledge your claim within 10 days and issue a coverage decision within 30 days of receiving your documented proof of loss.

Question 2

Can hail damage just one slope of my roof?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hail often travels at an angle, so one side of a roof can take a direct hit while the opposite slope shows little or no damage.

Question 3

Is that dark spotting on my shingles pollen or hail bruising?

Accepted Answer

Pollen wipes off easily with water. Hail bruising leaves a soft, indented spot with granule loss — you can feel it with your thumb. We check both from the roof, not the driveway.

Question 4

Do I need to be home for the inspection?

Accepted Answer

No. We just need access to the exterior. We photograph everything and share a full report after the inspection.
